The director, whose film Raajneeti stars Katrina Kaif as a politician, also claimed that all movies have some kind of politics in them.
''Raajneeti is not a political film at all. Politics plays an important role here but in this way all the films are political films, because ups and downs in a relationship also portrays a kind of politics,'' Jha told New Kerala.
''Katrina has portrayed a beautiful, young glamorous lady in the first half but in [the] second half, when [the] film takes a twist, she has a non-glamorous avatar."
Kaif, who appears alongside Ajay Devgan and Manoj Bajpeyi in the picture, further suggested that the film has no political message.
''Prakash gave me video footage of several lady politicians including Sonia and Priyanka Gandhi and this role is nothing to do with either Sonia or Priyanka,'' she added.
''This is not a documentary, tetchy or preachy film.''
