Stars demand in-flight gifts from Bajpai

Manoj Bajpai's Raajneeti co-stars demanded that he buy presents for them on a flight from Lucknow to Mumbai.

The actor bought a watch for Katrina Kaif that she had admired earlier in the flight, which was transporting the cast home from a promotional event.

However, actor Ajay Devgn and director Prakash Jha demanded that they be bought presents too when then they saw Kaif's gift. Bajpai even bought a bracelet for Devgn's daughter Nysa.

"It was nothing. I just bought a wristband for Nysa. It was shopping time for my co-actors who were demanding that I buy them gifts from the in-flight shopping," Bajpai told Mid Day.

Jha confirmed: "First Manoj bought gifts for Katrina. So Ajay and I complained that why should we be left behind? Katrina liked a Friendship watch so he got up from his seat, and bought it for her. Ajay and I looked at each other and then Ajay asked for a gift too. It wasn't fair that only Katrina should get a gift. So the poor fellow ended up buying a Swarovski pen for Ajay and a Dolce and Gabbana perfume for me."

Bajpai, who said that he would only buy the presents if the stars promised to use them, added: "Now Prakashji's office reeks of the DG perfume while Katrina promptly wore her colourful Friendship watch. Now I fear I will have to buy something for Ranbir [Kapoor] too, when we go to Delhi, as he wasn't there on this trip."
