The unnamed actress, who is thought to be Katrina Kaif, was so surprised by the scene that she has apparently asked for her name to be excluded from the credits, the Mumbai Mirror reports.
Director Prakash Jha told the newspaper: “Yes, it’s true that we removed the love-making scene before submitting it to the censor board. But we plan to include it in the DVD version.”
However, Jha had previously said that the scene received partial cuts only after it was submitted to the board of censors. He told Real Bollywood: "The love scene was absolutely essential... I've had to reduce it by half."
It is unclear whether the decision was then taken to remove the scene in its entirety.
According to other sources, Rock On!! star Rampal asked for the scene to be re-shot in case his wife and children got upset.
