The media had suggested that the director had chosen the half-Czech, half-Pakistani model as the female lead in his new movie Rockstar.
"No, that’s not true. We are still hunting for the female lead… I can't speak more on it now as I am really not talking about it right now," Ali, 38, told IANS.
It has also been claimed that Brazillian model Giselle Monteiro, who starred in Ali’s movie Love Aaj Kal opposite Saif Ali Khan, is in line for the main female role.
Ranbir Kapoor is playing the male lead in Rockstar, which is co-produced by Eros International Media Ltd and Shri Ashtavinayak Cine Vision.
