Kher shocked by Middle East 'Lamhaa' ban

Anupam Kher has said that he is upset because his new movie has been banned in the Middle East.

The actor, who latest film Lamha addresses issues of violence and terrorism in Kashmir, accused the Middle East censorship board of being culturally backward/

"I am shocked to learn that Lamhaa is banned in Middle East. Why? Without even seeing the film. And we talk about progress and culture. Sad," Kher posted on Twitter.

Lamha, which also stars Sanjay Dutt, Bipasha Basu and Kunal Kapoor, will be released on Friday.
