Pradeep Sarkar beat Neil Nitin Mukesh with a broom to demonstrate a point to Deepika Padukone, according to Real Bollywood.
The actress was apparently meant to hit Mukesh with the broom for a scene in Lafangey Parindey, but director Sarkar was unhappy with her acting so he showed her how to do it by beating the actor himself.
"He (Sarkar) insisted that Deepika was not doing the scene correctly. So he picked up a jhaadu (broom) and hit Neil on his bum. He stood holding his bum while Deepika and the whole unit burst into laughter," a source revealed.
Lafangey Parindey, which is being produced by Yash Raj Films, will be released on August 20.
