According to the Mumbai Mirror, the actor was offered the part in the as-yet untitled film by Jennifer Lynch.
Although written by a Hollywood director, the film is reported to contain elements of Bollywood.
“I have heard the script of a horror film on re-incarnation. It is currently in the developing process,” Sherawat revealed.
“I have met so many writers and only one of them brought this lovely horror script to me. It’s been more than a year that I have been in the US but it has been fruitful. This is indeed an interesting phase in my career and is taking me in the right direction.”
Sherawat and Lynch recently worked together on Hisss, launched at the 63rd Cannes International Film Festival in May.
