After a number of years of struggling in the industry, Rampal's recent work in Om Shanti Om, Rock On!! and Raajneeti, has attracted critical acclaim.
Speaking to The Times of India, Rampal declared: "I'm sure that my winning streak will continue with We Are Family."
The project, an adaptation of the 1998 Hollywood film Stepmom, will be directed by Siddharth Malhotra. Rampal feels that the combination of actresses Kajol and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles will ensure the film does well.
"Kajol is a natural. I'm a huge fan and I cherished the experience of working with her. Watching her doing emotional scenes is spellbinding. She is so effortless. And Kareena is a friend. She has come into her own as an actress and is also a huge star."
We Are Family is released worldwide September 2.
