The actor-producer is known for changing his physique and hairstyle according to the role, and has been seen in a number of different looks in recent films Taare Zameen Par, Ghajini and 3 Idiots.
"I don't see myself as a perfectionist. I don't think anyone is perfect and anyone can be. I am someone who enjoys doing what I am doing and I do it with a lot of love and passion," Khan told PTI.
The star also denies he uses method acting techniques: "I don't know if being called methodical is the right word to describe me. Each time I approach the material in a new way.
"So there is not one method for me. I'm not a trained actor, so I don't know what method acting is."
Peepli Live, Khan's latest work as a producer, depicts the growing rural and urban divide in India.
