Varma 'clears Deol debt after reports'
Published Thursday, Sep 2 2010, 10:05 BST | By Will Astbury

It was reported that Deol had complained to the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) because the director still owed her 1.3 million rupees (around £18,000) for her role in the 2007 movie.
Sources have now claimed that Varma agreed to pay the actress her fee after it was reduced to 700,000 rupees (around £9,000).
It has been suggested that Varma paid the fee after FWICE issued a non-cooperation matter against him and the shooting of his upcoming film Rakta Charitra was also stopped.
