Negative press impacts 'Har Pal'

The film's producers are reportedly concerned about negative publicity surrounding the actor's current sexual assault trial.
"Many pundits feel that audiences will reject Shiney's film as he still hasn't been pronounced free of the charges of raping his domestic servant. Shiney's brand name needs to get positive light somehow to resurrect his acting career," a source told The Times of India.
Shooting on Har Pal began in 2007, but the film has been waiting to hit screens for the past two years.
Director Jahnu Barua commented: "The situation is such that we have to wait and watch."
Ahuja stars opposite heroine Preity Zinta in the delayed production.
