Grover to appear in 'Honour Killings'

Gulshan Grover is reported to have worked on an international project filmed in London.

The actor stars in the multicultural film Honour Killings with veteran Bollywood actors Prem Chopra and Jawed Sheikh.

The production, centred on the subject of 'honour' killings in the West, is based on a series of true stories.

Director Avtar Bhogal commented: "Through the film, I would like to forward a humble request to our society to wake up and realise that we need to be involved rather than be safe on the grounds of cultural sensibilities.

"No doubt the issue of honour is important but does it justify the killing of a human being solely for the purpose of honour?"

Honour Killings releases worldwide later in 2010.
