Director Vipul Shah is reported to be arranging a stage show starring the pair for when the US actor arrives in India.
Shah told the Mumbai Mirror: "There are talks going on. But talking about it would only make things difficult. You see, negotiating with an international star is painstaking.
"Water-tight contracts have to be drawn up. Unquestionable deals have to be sealed. We're in the process of doing all that. But like I said I can't talk about it until the papers are signed."
Kumar's 1970s-themed Action Replayy sees the star impersonate Travolta's Saturday Night Fever character.
Kumar has previously collaborated with international stars Kylie Minogue, Snoop Dogg and Sylvester Stallone.
