'Rajneeti' selected for Oscar library

Director Prakash Jha expressed his honour at the achievement, reports IANS.
The filmmaker said: "Though Hindi cinema has its own tradition and form it is always nice to be recognised internationally."
Jha revealed that the political drama had gone through a lot of redrafting, commenting: "It's nice to know that that effort has not gone waste and we have been blessed with commercial as well as critical acclaim.”
The project, which is based on the Indian epic the Mahabharata, stars Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Arjun Rampal in the lead roles.
Jha's production joins films such as Rock On!!, Lagaan andKal Ho Naa Ho in the Oscar library of archived Indian scripts.
