Basu tackles 'honour killings' in new film

The actress features alongside Ajay Devgn and Akshaye Khanna in the project, which is reported to be based on a real-life occurrence.
In a press release, Eros International announced: "Aakrosh is an adaptation from an article from The Times of India, during the times of 1995."
The film deals with an incident involving three Delhi university students who go missing on a trip to the Indian state of Bihar.
In spite of the serious subject matter, the movie is directed by noted comic filmmaker Priyadarshan. The plot has been described as "a chain of exciting, funny and intelligent events".
Eros International stated that the film will release in the overseas market on October 15.
