The Abbas and Mustan Burmawalla-directed remake of The Italian Job originally had Katrina Kaif in Basu's role before she walked out.
The male lead roles have been taken by Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Omi Vaidya.
Joining them in a smaller role is newcomer Sikandar Kher. Talking about the film, Kher said: "It is a smart and stylish package. In fact, it is going to be bigger than the original and will include some new characters."
