The actor is reported to be in Birmingham shooting action thriller Tezz, reports the Times of India.
After decades working in Hindi cinema, the 55-year-old commented on his recent international fame: "Honestly, age is but a number. In my head, I'm still a newcomer, especially in the West.
"When I did Slumdog Millionaire I didn't imagine that it was opening doors to me for further opportunities in the West. But now, 24 and MI4 seem to be just the tip of the iceberg."
The Priyadarshan film, formerly titled Bullet Train, is said to be based on Hollywood movie Speed. It will be shot on location in the Midlands, Scotland, Wales and London.
The globally recognised star was reported to have dined alone at a branch of a chicken restaurant chain in Birmingham earlier this week.
