Roshan confirmed for 'Agneepath' lead

The producer announced that Roshan would star alongside Priyanka Chopra in the remake of the 1990 film.
Speaking of the casting, Johar explained that the decision had been in the hands of director Siddharth Malhotra.
"Why Hrithik and not Abhishek? I think Siddharth has his own ideas on how to present the character. I think the protagonist in the new Agneepath would be very different from how he was in the original," said Johar.
The original, which starred Mithun Chakraborty opposite Abhishek's father, Amitabh Bachchan, was produced by Karan Johar’s father, the late Yash Johar.
