Preity Zinta 'to get honorary UEL degree'

The actress will receive the award at a function on Friday, at the institute's Docklands campus.
The 35-year-old actress, who spoke at the Oxford Union yesterday, is also expected to attend the Loomba Foundation Diwali dinner at the Guildhall, after tomorrow's degree ceremony.
The award-winning Hindi film star studied Criminal Psychology at Bombay University, and in 2009 undertook an executive course from Harvard Business School.
Zinta joins other Indian stars including Yash Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Shilpa Shetty, to receive an honorary doctorate from a leading UK university.
