Rai Bachchan 'plays comic role in new film'

According to BollySpice, the model-turned-actress will be seen playing a different type of character to the roles she has recently performed.
Director Vipul Shah revealed: "I have always felt that whenever I have met Ash that she is a very simple girl, very down to earth and very fun-loving.
"So it was very, very simple to get her into the part. I think this is going to show one side of her personality, which people have not seen so far. They will be very excited to see it."
Rai Bachchan took part in a live video conference from India today with journalists in London, alongside Akshay Kumar and Vipul Shah.
Action Replayy, set in 1970s Mumbai, releases on Friday.
