'Golmaal 3' opens to 'record numbers'

The Rohit Shetty-directed comedy is reported to have grossed Rs 70 crores (£9.8m) worldwide in its opening weekend.
"The film is running packed shows all over India and the current figures strongly indicate that the film is a blockbuster in the making," stated Nandu Ahuja, senior vice president of distribution for Eros International, in a press release.
The film, which was released last Friday, is said to be running in over 2,000 screens worldwide.
Pranab Kapadia, distribution president for the production house, said of the film's international reception: "Golmaal 3 is enjoying a superb response with a fabulous opening across the UK, Australia, Middle East etc."
The third instalment in the Golmaal series reunites Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Tusshar Kapoor onscreen.
