Siddharth joins 'Midnight's Children'

Siddharth has confirmed that he will star in the film version of Salman Rushdie's Midnight's Children.
The film, which is being directed by Academy Award-nominated Deepa Mehta, will also star Satya Bhabha, Irfan Khan, Shabana Azmi and Soha Ali Khan.
Siddharth, who made his acting debut in 2003 with Boys, tweeted his excitement about the role.
"It's official. I'm very happy to be part of the very talented Deepa Mehta's epic international film Salman Rushdie's Midnight's Children."
Filming will begin in January 2011.
