Sammir Dattani 'to get engaged'

Sammir Dattani is reportedly getting engaged to his long-term girlfriend at a ceremony in Mumbai.

According to The Times of India, his family have given permission for him to marry partner Ritika Jolly, who he has been dating for the last two years.

A source close to the Well Done Abba actor revealed: "It's going to be a private event. The invitees will strictly be family and very close friends."

Confirming the engagement, the Bollywood and Southern cinema star requested: "It's a very small ceremony with family and close friends. I wish to keep it like that."

As well as releases in Kannada and Tamil film, Dattani has worked on a range of Hindi pictures including Corporate and this year's I Hate Luv Storys.

The actor began his career as a model and professional roller-skater.
