Padukone: 'Kajol in DDLJ is my dream role'

According to India Today, the actor said that the Yash Raj film was her favourite movie when she was younger.
The model-turned-actress commented: "I loved DDLJ and my dream role is Kajol's role in the film."
Padukone added: "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge came at a time when I was growing up and watching a lot of Indian cinema.
"At that time the trend of parents opposing the lovers and the couple going all out to get together used to fascinate me. Neither the lovers nor their parents would compromise on their ideology, albeit impractical."
The star's current project Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey went on release on Friday.
