New York snow halts film shoot

Producer Bhushan Kumar's latest film has reportedly had to be put on hold because of the heavy snow in New York.

According to Mid Day the shoot for the film, which has a working title of Happy New Year and stars Kangna Ranaut and Sunny Deol, has had to come to a standstill after three days of continuous snow fall.

A source told the agency that the delay was causing extra stress within the production because of Ranaut's tight schedule.

"They want her to extend her stay to make up for the days that had been cancelled, but she can't as Kangana has to be in Scotland for important work. She doesn't have dates till mid next year," said the source.

The actress is busy with three other film shoots in 2011: Tezz, Power and Double Dhamaal.
