The former Miss Universe and her professional tennis player fiancé are reportedly having the wedding at a five star hotel in Goa, India.
A source told the Mumbai Mirror that the location is important to the couple.
"Lara and Mahesh love Goa. They both decided to convert their favourite holiday spot into a place that would be memorable to them forever," said the source.
Bhupathi separated from wife of seven years Shvetha Jaishankar before he began dating Dutta in 2009.
Dutta has previously been in high profile relationships with actors Kelly Dorji and Dino Morea.
