Dixit 'has no problem playing a mother'

Madhuri Dixit has denied reports that she has issues playing a mother on screen.

Dixit was rumoured to have refused to play the role of Sonam Kapoor's mother in an Indian version of Freaky Friday.

The 43-year-old mother-of-two-sons said that she was not in a position to complain about a role like that.

"I don't feel weird about playing a mother on screen. I am a mother after all!" she told IANS

The actress added that she had not yet spoken to producer Anil Kapoor and would base her decision to take part solely on whether the script was good enough.
