Ranbir Kapoor 'to appear on the catwalk'

Ranbir Kapoor has agreed to appear at a fashion event to raise money for charity.

According to The Times of India, the star will walk the ramp on Sunday to raise awareness of a charitable project organised by Namrata Goel.

Actor and social activist Shabana Azmi said: "Namrata arranged the ramp show last year and again this year. Last year we had 22 stars walking the ramp for us.

"This year it has gone up to 25 stars. So our film industry's participation is growing."

The fashion show, which will take place in Mumbai, will raise funds to help girls and young women in Azmi's home village of Mijwan.
