According to Mumbai Mirror, the actor decided this week to be part of the project after initially meeting with Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra six months ago.
"Last year in June, Aamir had met YRF scion Aditya Chopra, who had given Aamir an idea of how he envisaged him in Dhoom 3," a source told the tabloid.
The character that Khan is scheduled to play, will have a defined and specific image: “Aamir will have a very stylised look in the film. Aditya and Aamir have started working on the look.”
The actor-producer, who earlier worked with Yash Raj Films on Fanaa, expressed his excitement about the upcoming release.
"It's a fabulous script and when I heard it, I was blown away,” said the star.
