The Fanaa director revealed that he taking a break from Mumbai to work on the untitled project.
The filmmaker posted on his Twitter account: "Have come to Goa to finish my script."
Kohli earlier confirmed that music director Pritam will be composing the soundtrack.
"Started music sittings with Pritam today for my film with Shahid and Priyanka. Lyrics will be by Prasoon," wrote the director.
The Hum Tum filmmaker returns to directing after producing last year's romantic comedy Break Ke Baad.
