The veteran actress will film a special sequence for Aarakshan, reports Mid Day.
Writing on his Big Adda blog, Bachchan posted: "Hemaji joins us tomorrow for the shooting of Aarakshan. A cameo but all looking forward to her arrival. Baghban remembered."
The project, on the Indian caste system, is currently being shot in Bhopal.
The two stars have worked together on a number of popular Hindi film productions, including Sholay and Baabul.
