The 15-year-old actor trained with stuntman William Ong for his new action adventure film Zokkomon, reports IBN Live.
A source revealed: "Darsheel trained for months to perfect his moves with international stunt director William Ong, who has worked with the legendary Jackie Chan."
Safary, who won critical acclaim for his role as a dyslexic schoolboy in Aamir Khan's Taare Zameen Par, said that he was excited about playing a superhero in his new release.
"I loved doing the action sequences," said the star. "I am thrilled to see myself as Zokkomon, all the special effects and action sequences are something I haven't done before."
The Satyajit Bhatkal production, which also stars Anupam Kher and Manjari Fadnis, releases April 22.
