Ameesha Patel has revealed that she waited until she had the perfect bikini before agreeing to wear one on screen for the first time.
The Om Shanti Om actress will be seen wearing one in an upcoming photo shoot which has been specially designed by her friend Komal Shahani.
In an interview with The Times of India, she said: "Getting into a bikini is serious business. You have to look perfect in it because you cannot hide anything.
"I didn't want to get into just any bikini. It had to [be] a premium fashion product suitable for a beach in the South of France or in Goa. It isn't even ideal swimwear; it's more like something you wear on a chaise lounge."
Patel will next be starring in Power alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor. She will also appear in the romantic thriller Run Bhola Run with Govinda and Celina Jaitley.
