Vinay Pathak: 'Lara Dutta is underrated'

Vinay Pathak has admitted that he thinks Lara Dutta is hugely underrated in Bollywood.

The actress will next be seen starring alongside Pathak in Chalo Dilli.

He told IANS: "She is a fabulous actor, very underused in our industry. She has done some wonderful roles, but she is yet to be exploited.

"I am ecstatic about the fact that we came together to work on a story and a film that has given ample opportunity to both of us to indulge in what we know the best."

However, Pathak added that they had been cast together specifically because they make an odd couple on screen.

Dutta was recently accused of snubbing the media when she refused to pose for photos after getting married.

Chalo Dilli, which follows two travellers around India, will get its worldwide release on April 29.
