Saif and Soha Ali Khan in release clash

Saif Ali Khan and younger sister Soha are to both release films on the same day.

Love Aaj Kal star Saif is scheduled to appear in Aarakshan, and Soha in Soundtrack, which hit the box office on August 12.

A source told the Indian Express: "Both films would release on August 12, the weekend that leads to the Independence Day holiday of 15th August.

"This way, Aarakshan as well as Soundtrack are looking at capitalising on the four-day long weekend available to them."

Producers of Saif's film are said to have chosen the date as the plot of the movie links to Indian Independence.

Life Goes On star Soha previously revealed to DS: "Soundtrack is an official remake of the film It's All Gone Pete Tong about a DJ who goes deaf, in which I play the DJ role."
