Shiney Ahuja 'slammed for behaviour'

Director Puja Jatinder Bedi has accused convicted sex offender Shiney Ahuja of making her uncomfortable on set.

The helmer cast Ahuja while he was waiting for trial in her film Mary Magdalene.

She told Mumbai Mirror: "He would call me in [to this room] and send the rest of the unit out. He even tried to hug me a couple of times and I had to be firm in my refusal."

Bedi added that she gave the Life in a... Metro actor the "benefit of a doubt" but that he had frequently disrupted the production and made it overrun.

He reportedly also fell out with crew on the set of his last productionThe Accident.

Ahuja was given a seven-year jail sentence for sexually assaulting his maid last month.

The court decision ignited anger in Bollywood from stars such as Salman Khan.
