The actress, a staunch gay rights activist, is largely absent from the second half of Anees Bazmee's new comedy, Mid Day reports.
"I am a tad bit disappointed with the scene layout," said the former model. "However, I think that's due to the inability to shoot due to date issues. I did TY only for Aneesji and wouldn't ever say no to him."
Jaitley had earlier collaborated with Bazmee on No Entry, one of the biggest hits of 2005.
A source for the Mumbai tabloid commented: "She's got a raw deal despite working with Bazmee before this and sharing a great rapport with him."
The project, which also features Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Irrfan Khan and Rimi Sen, was released last week.
The source added: "The film suffered due to lack of co-ordination of the cast's dates."
In 2009, the actor was the guest judge at India's first eunuch beauty contest.
