Bipasha Basu, Josh Hartnett romance 'was fake'

Bipasha Basu's claims to have been romantically involved with Josh Hartnett may have been a publicity stunt.

The actress recently said that she shared "good chemistry" with her Singularity co-star.

Basu plays a she-warrior called Tulaja who captures the romantic interest of Hartnett's British captain in the period film.

A source told Mid Day: "Josh has been in a very public relationship with Sophia [Lie]. Why would he want to hook up with Bipasha when he has someone else in his life? They are merely good friends."

The star has recently broken up with long-term boyfriend John Abraham and has since been romantically linked to Dum Maro Dum co-star Rana Daggubati.
