The 2010 release, which has been described as an Indian cinema version of Brokeback Mountain, features Kapil Sharma and Yuvraaj Parashar.
Sharma told DS: "Dunno Y... Na Jaane Kyun is selected at the prestigious Tel Aviv festival in Israel. It's the first Bollywood entry in that festival.
"In fact, the director of the festival is really curious to know what the reaction of the Israeli audience will be, as they are not used to Bollywood culture."
Sharma, who will be seen next in Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, added that he and co-star Parashar have been invited to appear at the event.
"It's a week-long festival in June," revealed Sharma. "Last year they had an audience of more than seven thousand, with around twenty international guests."
The film, which features the first gay kiss in Indian cinema, has already been shown internationally at festivals in New York, Sydney and London.
