Bollywood stars tweet about royal wedding

Bollywood celebrities have shared their thoughts on the royal wedding through Twitter.

As the royal wedding topped the list of trending topics in India on the social networking site, a number of Hindi film figures gave their support to the event.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher tweeted: "Royal Wedding was the ultimate form of Theatre. Great settings, gorgeous costumes, superb characters. And whole world was the audience (sic)."

London-born actress Jiah Khan commented on her Twitter page: "Royal wedding was so beautiful, Kate was so elegant Will was so supportive. A beautiful day for them. Now for the street parties."

"Give her a proper kiss" posted West is West star Jimi Mistri when the newly-married couple appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

Bollywood composer Vishal Dadlani, however, appeared less enthusiastic about the day: "Watching the Royal Wedding. Why? Beats me."
