A source claimed that lead actor Salman Khan wanted a script in place before he would agree to reprise his role in the Boney Kapoor-produced sequel, Hindustan Times reports.
"After the success of Wanted and Dabangg, and the positive hype surrounding Ready and Bodyguard, Salman Khan is said to be insisting on a bound script," a source told the newspaper.
After the commmercial success of the multi-starrer comedy, a sequel had been rumoured for a number of years.
However, director Anees Bazmee denied that the film has been shelved.
"I will discuss the concepts with Boney next month to figure out the best way to take No Entry further. Accordingly, I'll start working on the script," he said.
