Ekta Kapoor has planned a sequel to her surprise horror hit Ragini MMS.
The film, aimed at younger audiences, has sold out cinemas in its opening weekend.
Speaking to Mid Day, the actor-turned-producer said: "I always wanted to make a sequel to Ragini MMS but only went ahead with it because it's doing well."
Ragini MMS centres on the trials of a young couple on holiday who find themselves tormented by a vengeful ghost.
A source added that, in the follow-up, fans will learn more about the tragic circumstances surrounding the death of the woman who haunts the couple.
They told the paper there will be more sex and more shocks in the sequel.
Fellow producer Aamir Khan described the film as part of a new wave of cinema, and asked Kapoor to show the trailer to Delhi Belly before her main feature.
