Trade analysts have predicted that Salman Khan's new film Ready will perform well at the box office.

The Khan production is the first big-budget film to release after the Indian Premier League season concludes, The Times of India reports.

Taran Adarsh commented on the film: "The buzz is tremendous and after Wanted and Dabangg, the audience's expectations have only tripled.

"I feel Ready will have a great start, giving the industry the much-needed respite. Salman is looking great. The songs have already caught on big-time and given the fact that it is a remake of a smash hit, I am confident this film will be one of the biggest openers of all time."

The Anees Bazmee project is a remake of a successful South Indian film.

"Before we choose a South Indian film for remake, we analyse the viability of the same. The film seemed to have all the ingredients to make it big at the box office," said producer Bhushan Kumar.

Vajir Singh considered: "With no big film having released in the recent past and the fact that audiences will get to watch Salman on the big screen after almost a year, this film is expected to take a flying start for sure."

The film, which also stars Asin, releases June 3.
