The actor, who was last seen with brother Sunny and father Dharmendra in Yamala Pagla Deewana, indicated that he does not counsel others on their film choices.
"Actually I never give any advice to anyone as such. And I have never given any advice to Esha either," Deol told Mumbai Mirror.
Esha will be seen in the upcoming Tell Me O Kkhuda with father Dharmendra and mother Hema Malini.
"I am happy that papa and Hema will be seen together after a long gap. I wish them all the success and hope that Tell Me O Kkhuda does well at the box office," said the Border star.
In spite of winning the Filmfare 'Best Debut' Award in 2003 for Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe, Esha's recent work has largely gone unrecognised.
The star's comeback project was originally scheduled to release in May.
