The actress has previously worked with the pair in the hit romance Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam.
"It'll be wonderful to work with Salman and Shah Rukh again... three of us together in one film. I hope some good script comes our way. It'll be so much fun," she told The Times of India.
Dixit was last seen in 2007's Aaja Nachle, which was her first film in six years since the hit Devdas.
The star reportedly turned down a role opposite South Indian veteran Rajinikanth because she did not want to play his sister, according to the paper.
It was also rumoured earlier in the year that she would star in an Indian version of Freaky Friday.
