The veteran star complemented Tandon in her first Hindi cinema role in over five years.
Bachchan said: "Raveena is an old hand at it and we have done films together in the past. It is wonderful to see her continuing to work with the same amount of gusto and energy as before."
Tandon will be seen performing to the track 'Main Chandigarh Di Star', composed by Vishal-Shekhar, and with vocals from Sunidhi Chauhan.
The 36-year-old stated: "I'm happy I am doing a fun song like 'Chandigarh Di Star'. I've always been lucky with music and the songs I've gotten to perform on have always been big hits."
The project, which also stars Hema Malini, Sonu Sood and Sonal Chauhan, releases July 1.
