Saif Ali Khan to host Indian 'MasterChef'?

The Kurbaan actor is thought to be the ideal presenter because of his familiarity with gourmet food, Mid Day reports.
"The channel feels that Saif has it in him," a source told the tabloid.
"As he hails from a family of nawabs [aristocrats], good food has been a part and parcel of his life. And Akshay's busy calendar this year does not leave him with time for the show."
Khan is in early negotiations for the role, which will mark his small-screen debut.
Kumar currently hosts Khatron Ke Kiladhi, which is based on the US game show Fear Factor.
However, he has said previously said that he finds cooking a "stress-buster" because of an earlier job as a chef in Bangkok.
Khan will host an IIFA Rocks event for the Indian International Film Academy this coming weekend in Toronto.
