Shilpa Shetty denies husband Raj Kundra affair rumours

Shilpa Shetty has denied to followers on Twitter that her husband is having an affair.

The Celebrity Big Brother winner dismissed the rumours about Raj Kundra's reported involvement with a clinical assistant working at a hair-transplant clinic.

Shetty and Kundra married in a low-key ceremony in November 2009, after much speculation over a wedding date.

She tweeted: "First I hear am preggars (NOT true) Now I hear my husbands havin an affair frm the press. Common fr papers 2 stoop low 2 sensationalise false (sic).

"False news!grrrrrr:( 4 the record, my husband and I are holidaying in USA and r very happily married. Sorry 2 burst the newspapers bubble."

The actress also rubbished rumours of a pregnancy, tweeting in May that she was "sick and tired of all the congratulatory messages and calls".

Kundra and Shetty's joint venture in an Indian restaurant chain recently foundered, following reports that some of the shops would have to close down.
