'Housefull 2' Mithun Chakraborty hospitalised in London

Mithun Chakraborty was rushed to a London hospital earlier this week during the shooting of Housefull 2.

The actor had been working on the sequel to Sajid Khan's comedy when he complained of stomach pains.

A source told the Mumbai Mirror: "On Monday, he suddenly complained of a stomach ache and thought something he ate must not have agreed with him. Since he wasn't required for the shoot, we asked him to rest it out. Mithunda is not a fussy person at all. So when he complained, we knew it was serious."

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala explained: "Yes, Mithunda did have a bit of a setback yesterday. He had to be admitted to the hospital. But he is fine now. He's resting and recuperating in the hotel."

The star's son Mimoh Chakraborty played down the seriousness of the situation.

"It was nothing to be alarmed about. My father only had a bout of gastric trouble. He was in the hospital for a day, but has been discharged now," said the Jimmy actor.
