Atif Aslam's Bol has been given an international release.
The Pakistani film, from director Shoaib Mansoor, is the follow-up to Khuda Kay Liye.
The social drama is reported to have got a bigger box office opening in Pakistan than My Name Is Khan, and this year's highest grossing Hindi film Ready.
The film tells the story of a girl who challenges traditional societal norms of treating women as unequal, while also addressing issues of homosexuality and religious tensions.
Pakistani actress Humaima Malick and Iman Ali feature alongside Aslam in the hit.
The singer-turned-actor had earlier performed at London's Royal Albert Hall.
Produced by Shahid Jamal and Shoaib Mansoor, Bol is scheduled to release internationally during the Eid holiday on August 31.
